There's a guy in the bar - nearly half-a-century old. He likes women and scotch and living forever. And weapons. He likes weapons too. Swords, specifically. Especially the katana from his teacher. He's working with it again, only this time, he's getting ready to head out back and practice.

Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod is in the bar. When did he get there? Does it really matter?

He's having Glenmorangie and dinner and he's quite content to be doing both.

There is also an antique horse statue next to him on the table.

Van Helsing is sitting at a table talking to his friend, Connor MacLeod... about their mutual friend Nick Knight who left them little notes and neither's actually SEEN Nick since then.

It's Connor's birthday which mun sloppily forgot last year. Not many people know it's his birthday and he won't tell you even if you suspect - which, you probably won't because he doesn't look any different now than he did a few days ago.
